Emily Liggett

Ms. Emily Maddox Liggett has over 30 years’ experience as Engineer, technology entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Apexon, Inc. from April 2004 to May 2007. Ms. Liggett was responsible for guiding Apexon to market leadership in Enterprise Supplier Quality Management Solutions. From November 2002 to August 2003, she served as President of Capstone Turbine Corporation and Chief Executive Officer from February 2003 to August 2003. Prior to joining Capstone Turbine Corp., she served as the Managing Director of the Corporate Venture Capital Group at Tyco Ventures from 2000 to 2002. She held various management and executive roles at Raychem Corporation from 1984 to 2001. Ms. Liggett worked at Raychem in sales, marketing, operations and division management positions. She served as Interim Chief Operating Officer of Capstone Turbine Corp. since November 2002. From 1997 to 2000, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Elo Touch Solutions, Inc. and Division Manager of Telecommunications and Energy Division at Raychem.

Ms. Emily Maddox Liggett served as Director of Kaiser Aluminum Corporation from June 2018. She served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of NovaTorque Inc. from March 2009 until December 2016. Ms. Liggett joined NovaTorque in March 2009.

She held a variety of positions in general management, operations, marketing and sales for Dupont Corp. Ms. Liggett held positions at McKinsey, the European Community, EPFL and Bell Labs. She has been a Director of Ultra Clean Holdings Inc. since May 21, 2014. She serves as a Director of NovaTorque, Inc. and Textronics, Inc. since January 31, 2006. She served as a Director at MTS Systems Corporation since April 2010 until 2016. She served as a Director of Immersion Corporation from 2005 to 2011. She serves on the Purdue University School of Engineering Advisory Board.

Ms. Liggett received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, her Master of Science in Engineering and Manufacturing Systems from Stanford University and her MBA degree from Stanford University. Ms. Liggett has served as a consultant and business coach at Stanford University since August 2017.
